Currently, Marcus is working on a follow up piece to "The Crows Of Bennett Road" titled "The Gulls of Ninth Ave". This piece is a look at retirement after a career of teaching.

Also, Marcus has a collection of horror/supernatural short stories forthcoming titled "Fearful Dreams" and another work that is commentary from time to time on living in the 21st century at the present moment.

Wanting to touch even more people, Marcus is working on a children's book "The World According to Charlie".​

Marcus aims to use his writing as a medium to share curated insights and ideas drawn from his diverse life experiences. The narrative structure will encompass a reflection on his history, current position, and future direction.
